T.B. Sheets Lyrics

[00:00.91] Now, listen, Julie baby
[01:04.84] It ain't natural for you to cry in the midnight
[01:13.22] It ain't natural for you to cry when the midnight comes...
[01:24.27] Into the wee small hours, long 'fore the break of dawn
[01:30.61] Oh, Lord
[01:58.85] Now, Julie, an' there ain't nothin' on my mind
[02:00.79] More further 'way than what you're lookin' for
[02:09.43] I see the way you jumped at me, Lord, from behind the door
[02:16.19] And looked into my eyes
[02:21.55] Your little star struck innuendos, inadequacies an' foreign bodies
[02:33.27] And the sunlight shining through the crack in the window pane
[02:39.12] Numbs my brain
[02:44.49] And the sunlight shining through the crack in the window pane
[02:51.67] Numbs my brain, oh, Lord
[03:06.39] So, open up the window and let me breathe
[03:17.11] I said, open up the window and let me breathe
[03:28.50] I'm looking down to the street below, Lord, I cried for you
[03:42.52] I cried, I cried for you, oh Lord
[04:01.89] The cool room, Lord, is a fool's room
[04:12.96] The cool room, Lord, is a fool's room
[04:23.12] And I can almost smell your T.B. sheets
[04:34.03] And I can almost smell your T.B. sheets
[04:43.36] On your sick bed
[04:48.71] I gotta go, I gotta go
[04:59.11] And you said, "Please, stay I wanna, I wanna
[05:05.24] I want a drink of water, I want a drink of water
[05:07.71] Go in the kitchen, get me a drink of water"
[05:19.44] I said, "I gotta go, I gotta go, baby"
[05:32.73] I said, "I'll send, I'll send somebody around, later
[05:45.07] You know we got John comin' around here later
[05:48.21] With a bottle of wine for you, baby, but I gotta go"
[06:17.33] The cool room, Lord, is a fool's room
[06:27.03] The cool room, Lord, Lord, is a fool's room
[06:37.43] And I can almost smell your T.B. sheets
[06:48.91] I can almost smell your T.B. sheets, T.B.
[07:04.84] I gotta go, I'll send around, send around one that grumbles later on, babe
[07:24.08] See what I can pick up for you, you know that
[07:29.41] Yeah, I got a few things going too
[07:35.28] Don't worry about it, don't worry about it, don't worry
[07:42.38] Go, go, go, go, gotta go
[07:47.66] Gotta, gotta go, gotta go, gotta go
[07:56.25] All right all right
[08:07.79] I turned on the radio, wanna hear a few tunes
[08:13.54] Turn on the radio for you
[08:15.31] There you go, there you go
[08:17.80] There you go, baby, there you go
[08:50.16] You'll be all right too, yeah
[09:02.63] I know it ain't funny, it ain't funny at all, baby
[09:24.83] You laying in the cool room, man
[09:30.65] You laying in the cool room, in the cool room
[09:38.18]
