About The Honeymoon Song

This track epitomises the sound of Manuel and the Music of the Mountains. It's a composition by Mikis Theodorakis, originally from the rather obscure 1959 film Luna de Miel (Honeymoon) and is here given a typical Manuel arrangement with strings and guitars to the fore and the widely separated Stereo Two sound (a series named after the Abbey Road studio where most of the recordings were made). The track originally appeared on the 1971 album Carnival (the same one that introduced Manuel's famous version of the Rodrigo guitar concerto). .
