“Monsta” portrays lyrically one of BENEE’s biggest fears in a song, her fear of being kidnapped during the night. The indie-alternative song is created from a made up situation, in which some kind of monster enters BENEE’s room at night. It seems to be very scary and intimidating at first, however she stops the monster from being lonely, and it ultimately saves her from a deadly fire. The song was originally released as a single in November 2019 .
