Coat of Many Colors

[00:05.48] Back through the the years I go wandering once again

[00:15.63] I recall the box of rags someone gave us

[00:32.92] And I didn't have a coat and it was way down in the fall
[00:38.57] Mama sewed the rags together, sewing every piece with love
[00:43.92] She made my coat of many colors that I was so proud of
[00:51.56] As she sewed she told a story from the bible she had read
[00:56.80] About the coat of many colors Joseph wore and then she said
[01:02.87] "Perhaps this coat would bring you good luck and happiness"
[01:08.03] And I just couldn't wait to wear it
[01:11.26] And mama blessed it with a kiss
[01:15.86] My coat of many colors that my mama made for me
[01:21.21] Made only from rags but I wore so proudly
[01:28.19] Although we had no money
[01:31.13] Why I was rich as I could be

[01:54.63] Just to find the others laughing and making fun of me

[02:31.06] But they didn't understand it and I tried to make them see
[02:36.96] That one is only poor only if they choose to be
[02:43.63] Now I know we had no money, but I was rich as I could be
