Far Behind Lyrics

[00:10.97] Now maybe, I didn't mean to treat you bad
[00:18.95] But I did it anyway and then maybe
[00:25.26] Some would say your life was sad
[00:29.50] But you lived it anyway and so maybe
[00:35.37] Your friends they stand around they watch you crumble
[00:40.33] As you falter down to the ground and then someday
[00:45.90] Your friends they stand beside as you were flying
[00:50.37] Oh, you were flying, oh, so high
[00:53.65] But then someday people look at you
[00:56.62] For what they call their own, they watch you suffer
[01:01.60] Yeah, they hear you calling home
[01:04.36] And then some day we could take our time
[01:07.21] To brush the leaves aside so you can reach us
[01:11.67] Yeah, but you left me far behind
[01:15.21] Now maybe I didn't mean to treat you, oh, so bad
[01:22.96] But I did it anyway
[01:25.58] Now I'm saying, maybe
[01:29.29] Some would say you're left with what you had
[01:33.77] But you couldn't share the pain, no, no, no
[01:39.60] Couldn't share the pain, they watch you suffer
[01:44.66]
[01:47.23] And now maybe I could have made my own mistakes
[01:55.31] But I live with what I've known
[01:58.11] And then maybe we might share in something rare
[02:03.48] Won't you look at where we've grown
[02:06.00] Won't you look at where we've gone
[02:08.65] And then someday comes tomorrow holds
[02:11.65] A sense of what I feel for you in my mind
[02:16.96] As you trip the final line
[02:19.55] And that cold day when you lost control
[02:22.28] Shame you left my life so soon you should have told me, hey
[02:27.12] But you left me far behind
[02:30.02] Now maybe I didn't mean to treat you oh so bad
[02:37.53] Oh, but I did it anyway
[02:40.78] Now maybe some would say you're left with what you had, oh
[02:48.53] But you couldn't share the pain, no, no, no
[02:53.89]
[03:38.80] Oh, no, no, no no
[03:44.12] Oh, no
[03:45.13] See I know
[03:47.78] See I know
[03:50.68]
[03:53.77] But maybe, said maybe
[03:59.55] I didn't mean to treat you, oh, so bad
[04:03.39] But I did it anyway, sayin' now maybe
[04:09.73] Some would say you're left with what you had
[04:14.37] But you couldn't share the pain
[04:16.76] Now I've said, but times have changed your friends
[04:19.56] They come and watch you crumble to the ground
[04:22.03] They watch you suffer, yeah, they hold you down
[04:26.85] Hold on down
[04:28.24] Now I said maybe, maybe
[04:32.71] I didn't mean to treat you bad
[04:35.66] But you left me far behind
[04:38.97] Left me far behind
[04:41.81] Left me far behind
[04:48.08]
