Walk Like an Egyptian Lyrics

[00:14.36] All the old-paintings on the tomb
[00:16.65] They do the sand dance, don't you know?
[00:18.96] If they move too quick (oh-way-oh)
[00:21.32] They're falling down like a domino
[00:23.69] All the bazaar men by the Nile
[00:25.93] They got the money on a bet
[00:28.25] Gold crocodiles (oh-way-oh)
[00:30.64] They snap their teeth on your cigarette
[00:33.18] Foreign types with the hookah pipes say
[00:35.33] "Way oh-way-oh, way oh-way-oh"
[00:42.12] Walk like an Egyptian
[00:45.88]
[00:56.04] The blonde waitresses take their trays
[00:58.50] They spin around and they cross the floor
[01:00.88] They've got the moves (oh-way-oh)
[01:03.17] You drop your drink, then they bring you more
[01:05.43] All the school kids so sick of books
[01:07.83] They like the punk and the metal band
[01:10.12] When the buzzer rings (oh-way-oh)
[01:12.41] They're walking like an Egyptian
[01:14.79] All the kids in the marketplace say
[01:16.81] "Way-oh, way-oh, oh-way, oh-way-oh"
[01:24.03] Walk like an Egyptian
[01:27.98]
[02:06.37] Slide your feet up the street, bend your back
[02:08.85] Shift your arm, then you pull it back
[02:11.12] Life's hard, you know (oh-way-oh)
[02:13.43] So strike a pose on a Cadillac
[02:15.69] If you want to find all the cops
[02:18.09] They're hanging out in the donut shop
[02:20.40] They sing and dance (oh-way-oh)
[02:22.63] They spin the clubs, cruise down the block
[02:25.06] All the Japanese with their yen
[02:27.36] The party boys call the Kremlin
[02:29.79] And the Chinese know (oh-way-oh)
[02:32.02] They walk the line like Egyptian
[02:34.38] All the cops in the donut shop say
[02:36.58] "Way-oh, way-oh, oh-way, oh-way-oh"
[02:43.66] Walk like an Egyptian
[02:48.33] Walk like an Egyptian
[02:49.96]
