About The World At Large
"The World at Large" is the third promo release by American indie rock band Modest Mouse. It was recorded in 2003 and was previously featured on their album Good News for People Who Love Bad News. It was only after that Isaac Brock and the band decided to release it as a promo. The song was featured in The OC, Season 2 : Episode 7. “The World at Large” is a throwback to older Modest Mouse tracks. The sounds seemed out of place for Good News For People Who Love Bad News, but stood out as a familiar sound to their songs of old. .
