Far Behind Lyrics

[00:10.85] Now maybe, I didn't mean to treat you bad
[00:18.93] But I did it anyway and then maybe
[00:25.18] Some would say your life was sad
[00:29.34] But you lived it anyway and so maybe
[00:35.19] Your friends they stand around they watch you crumble
[00:40.22] As you falter down to the ground and then someday
[00:45.84] Your friends they stand beside as you were flying
[00:50.38] Oh, you were flying, oh, so high
[00:53.35] But then someday people look at you
[00:56.53] For what they call their own, they watch you suffer
[01:01.53] Yeah, they hear you calling home
[01:04.39] And then some day we could take our time
[01:07.26] To brush the leaves aside so you can reach us
[01:11.55] Yeah, but you left me far behind
[01:15.37] Now maybe I didn't mean to treat you, oh, so bad
[01:22.72] But I did it anyway
[01:25.01] Now I'm saying, maybe
[01:29.31] Some would say you're left with what you had
[01:33.44] But you couldn't share the pain, no, no, no
[01:39.56] Couldn't share the pain, they watch you suffer
[01:42.94]
[01:47.02] And now maybe I could have made my own mistakes
[01:55.22] But I live with what I've known
[01:57.73] And then maybe we might share in something rare
[02:03.01] Won't you look at where we've grown
[02:06.07] Won't you look at where we've gone
[02:08.42] And then someday comes tomorrow holds
[02:11.44] A sense of what I feel for you in my mind
[02:16.53] As you trip the final line
[02:19.18] And that cold day when you lost control
[02:22.35] Shame you left my life so soon you should have told me, hey
[02:27.09] But you left me far behind
[02:29.94] Now maybe I didn't mean to treat you oh so bad
[02:37.39] Oh, but I did it anyway
[02:40.67] Now maybe some would say you're left with what you had, oh
[02:48.78] But you couldn't share the pain, no, no, no
[02:52.73]
[03:38.28] Oh, no, no, no no
[03:44.20] Oh, no
[03:47.63] See I know
[03:50.27] See I know
[03:53.06] But maybe, said maybe
[03:59.36] I didn't mean to treat you, oh, so bad
[04:03.21] But I did it anyway, sayin' now maybe
[04:09.94] Some would say you're left with what you had
[04:14.32] But you couldn't share the pain
[04:16.57] Now I've said, but times have changed your friends
[04:18.91] They come and watch you crumble to the ground
[04:21.95] They watch you suffer, yeah, they hold you down
[04:27.28] Hold on down
[04:28.13] Now I said maybe, maybe
[04:32.89] I didn't mean to treat you bad
[04:35.66] But you left me far behind
[04:38.96] Left me far behind
[04:41.61] Left me far behind
[04:48.08]
