A Horse with No Name Lyrics
[00:07.90] On the first part of the journey
[00:11.91] I was looking at all the life
[00:15.74] There were plants and birds and rocks and things
[00:19.70] There was sand and hills and rings
[00:24.14] The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
[00:27.72] And the sky with no clouds
[00:31.87] The heat was hot, and the ground was dry
[00:35.61] But the air was full of sound
[00:39.74] I've been through the desert
[00:41.62] On a horse with no name
[00:43.33] It felt good to be out of the rain
[00:47.01] In the desert, you can remember your name
[00:50.94] 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
[00:54.98] La, la, la, la, la, la
[00:58.10] La, la, la, la, la, la
[01:02.48] La, la, la, la, la, la
[01:06.48] La, la, la, la, la, la
[01:10.25] After two days in the desert sun
[01:13.94] My skin began to turn red
[01:17.89] After three days in the desert fun
[01:21.54] I was looking at a river bed
[01:25.41] And the story it told of a river that flowed
[01:29.39] Made me sad to think it was dead
[01:33.25] You see I've been through the desert
[01:35.32] On a horse with no name
[01:37.32] It felt good to be out of the rain
[01:40.84] In the desert, you can remember your name
[01:44.88] 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
[01:48.84] La, la, la, la, la, la
[01:52.38] La, la, la, la, la, la
[01:56.34] La, la, la, la, la, la
[01:59.74] La, la, la, la, la, la
[02:04.45]
[02:19.99] After nine days, I let the horse run free
[02:23.69] 'Cause the desert had turned to sea
[02:27.45] There were plants and birds and rocks and things
[02:31.14] There was sand and hills and rings
[02:35.42] The ocean is a desert with it's life underground
[02:38.83] And a perfect disguise above
[02:42.76] Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
[02:46.65] But the humans will give no love
[02:50.55] You see I've been through the desert
[02:52.50] On a horse with no name
[02:54.26] It felt good to be out of the rain
[02:58.20] In the desert, you can remember your name
[03:01.99] 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
[03:06.16] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:09.48] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:13.47] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:17.22] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:21.32] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:25.27] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:29.06] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:33.24] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:36.86] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:40.71] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:44.46] La, la, la, la, la, la
[03:47.68] La, la, la, la, la, la
