The Mississippi Squirrel Revival

[00:27.52] Well, I stuffed him down in an old shoebox

[00:32.21] When Sunday came, I snuck him into church
[00:36.53] Well, I sit way back in the very last pew
[00:39.43] Showin' him to my good buddy Hugh
[00:41.13] When that squirrel got loose and went totally berserk!
[00:45.41] Well, what happened next is hard to tell
[00:48.04] Some thought it was Heaven, others thought it was Hell
[00:50.38] But the fact that something was among us was plain to see

[01:43.54] Who'd been watchin' all the commotion with sadistic glee
[01:48.19] You should've seen that look in her eyes
[01:50.39] When that squirrel jumped her garters and crossed her thighs
[01:52.55] She jumped to her feet and said, "Lord! Have mercy on me!"
[01:56.94] As that squirrel made laps inside her dress
[01:59.01] She began to cry and then to confess
[02:01.33] To sins that would make a sailor blush with shame
[02:05.66] She told the gossip and church dissension
[02:07.85] But the thing that got the most attention
[02:09.95] Was when she talked about her love life
[02:12.10] And then she started naming names
